In line with our role of promoting Syrian art and encouraging its appreciation, we are pleased to announce our second auction, entitled ‘Selections: Contemporary Syrian Art Auction’, in partnership with Artscoops. Our auctions do not follow a typical commercial auction model. Rather, they aim to transcend the idea of commercial value and focus more on the artists, whose individual works weave a story of Syrian art today.
In this auction we present over 30 artworks by contemporary artists such as Azza Abo Rebieh, Anas Homsi, Adi Atassi, Rabee Kiwan, Guevara Namer, Youssef Abdelke, Aktham Abdulhamid and Laila Muraywid.
All works are available for viewing on ArtScoop’s dedicated sale page. Buyers can register on the ArtScoops website and can start placing their bids as of 25 May at 10:00 am GMT .
